(FREDERICTON, NB) First-year forward Stu Rolofs scored once and assisted on two other goals to lead the UNB REDS in a 5-2 U SPORTS exhibition win over the visiting University of Toronto Varsity Blues on Saturday afternoon.
Rolofs' power-play goal, mid-way through the second period, broke a 2-2 tie and propelled the REDS to victory.
Camaryn Baber, Peter Reynolds, Nick Blagden, and Justin Nolet also scored for the REDS while Braeden MacPhee and Luca D'Amato each registered a pair of assists.
Rylee Hlusiak and Eddie Yan scored for Toronto.
Liam Sztuska made 15 saves on 17 shots for the win in the UNB net.
The REDS finish their pre-season schedule with a 5-0 record and now prepare to face the Dalhousie Tigers in their 2025-2026 Atlantic University Sport home and season opener on Friday. Game time is 7:00pm.
