V-Reds meet Cape Breton in AUS soccer playoffs

The fifth-place University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds will take on the fourth-place Cape Breton University Capers in AUS men's soccer conference quarter-final action Friday in Moncton. Kick off is at noon.

The third-place Dalhousie Tigers will meet the host and sixth-place Universite de Moncton Aigles Bleus in the 3 p.m. quarter-final. Saturday's semifinals will see the first-place St. Francis Xavier X-Men face the lower remaining seed at noon, and the second-place Saint Mary's Huskies battle the higher remaining seed at 3 p.m.

The final is Sunday at 2 p.m. The winner will advance to the CIS championship Nov. 11-14 at the University of Toronto.
