UNB Assistant Coaches "Tie the Knot"

    Friday afternoon July 16th saw current UNB Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach Erin Holowaychuk and current UNB Assistant Men's Soccer Coach Jon Crossland "tie the knot" in Holowaychuk's hometown of High River, Alberta.   Crossland was a standout athlete for the Varsity Reds before joining the program as an Assistant, while Holowaychuk joined the V-Reds Coaching staff in 2006.     Several former Varsity Reds men's soccer players stood in the wedding party.   The couple will return to Fredericton in a few weeks and move into a recently purchased home in New Maryland.    In addition to both volunteering so much time with the V-Reds program, Jon works as a teacher at Park Street Elementary while Erin works at UNB Counselling services.
