Kyle McAllister joined the REDS as Associate Coach on August 11th, 2025.

A veteran of four seasons as head coach and general manager of the Fredericton Red Wings (now Chaleur Lightning), of the Maritime Junior League, McAllister brings significant experience to the position.

Before joining the Red Wings, McAllister served in the same capacity with the MHL’s South Shore Lumberjacks, was head coach of the former men’s team at St. Thomas University for their final season and was an assistant coach of both the Tommies’ men’s and women’s teams.

McAllister played five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League before becoming a four-year standout at St. Thomas, playing more than 100 AUS games in the green and gold. He’s a former AUS All-Star and was the conference’s Rookie of the Year in 2002-03. After graduation, McAllister played three seasons of pro hockey in the United and East Coast Hockey Leagues.
