Aurora Hughes-Goyette, of the women’s soccer team, is the UNB REDS/Valley Graphics female Athlete of the Month, for September.
The fourth-year midfielder scored three goals and registered three assists to help the REDS to a 2-5-2 record to start the season.
Hughes-Goyette was consistent in getting shots on opposing nets and earned player of the game honours on multiple occasions.
“Her pace is a lot for opponents to handle and she used that to create chances for our team and also to score key goals for us,” said REDS’ head coach Jon Crossland.
